This Financial Controller position is an exciting opportunity to join a large non-profit organisation as a crucial team manager whilst overseeing the financial operations. This role would be pivotal in providing accurate and timely financial reporting and planning for the organisation and delivering analytic reporting and ad hoc project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing statutory reporting and delivering both quarterly and yearly accounts prep.
• Planning for year-end including delivery of accurate and timely reporting.
• Analysing the consolidated accounts, delivering strong reporting.
• Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the finance function
• Coordinating financial processes across the department and supplying opportunities for improvement across both systems and policies
• Managing a team, ensuring strong purchase ledger function, fund management and financial controls are in place

Person Specification

• A fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA) or QBE
• Strong experience in financial accounting including statutory reporting
• A proactive and ambitious mindset with ability to analyse data
• Excellent communicator with the ability to work with various stakeholders
