Financial Controller - Robert Half : Job Details

This is an exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller, reporting directly into the Finance Director, to join a luxury retail company.

This role is based in London and will be a hybrid role with 2 days a week in the office.

Financial Controller Responsibilities:

• Support the Finance Director in the achievement of Finance Department goals
• Support and develop the business decision making process with proactive financial and commercial due diligence
• Manage the monthly management accounts cycle
• Manage year end processes including statutory accounting requirements
• Manage year end audit with external auditors for all entities
• Own the coordination and preparation of annual budgets and reforecasts
• Prepare financials for the 3/5 year plan

Financial Controller Experience & skills required / preferred

• CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified - essential
• Experience with full ownership of the month end and year end close of the books process - essential
• Advanced Excel skills - essential
• Retail industry background, preferably with a multi-site, multi-channel organisation - essential
• Excellent Excel skills - essential
• Knowledge of SAP financial module is ideal
• Self-starter, ability to work under own initiative
• Ability to manage and develop a small team
• Ability to partner with non-finance functions
