Financial Controller - £55000 - £60000 per annum - Belfast

Your new company

Our client is a well-established SME with some big ambitions to grow. A construction / engineering business based in Belfast, you will be supporting this growth by developing and improving the commercial information delivered to the senior management team.

Your new role

You will manage a small team of accounts professionals to deliver the production of the month and year-end accounts. You will control the budget and forecasting process, delivering variance analysis against the project portfolio, supporting the operational team to deliver the projects on projected profit margins. The successful candidate will be delivering a compliant accountancy process and managing the cashflow across the business. You will also focus on improving the flow of commercial information to help the decision-making processes.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced accountant working in a similar industry, (Construction / Engineering / Manufacturing), with experience of running a busy accounting department. You will be approachable and you will have excellent communication skills.
