Financial Controller - Reed : Job Details

Reed Finance are pleased to be working with one of our local clients to appoint a Financial Controller, a qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA or CIMA.

This Financial Controller appointment requires a seasoned Financial Controller with extensive experience and will suit a Financial Controller who is seeking a new challenge. A great career progression opportunity with some clear succession planning.

Overview, The Financial Controller will manage a small finance within the Finance function, therefore managerial experience is a must. The Financial Controller will be working closely with the Finance Director to ensue the finance team achieve all financial objectives and drive commercial performance. You will have advance experience of commercial and statutory accounting. Driving the finance team to ensure the delivery of monthly accounts, monthly and quarterly reporting packs for SLT. Including KPI’s, and business performance. This role strives for continuous process improvement.

Experience: The Financial Controller will be fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA, with ideally 5 years PQE. You will need to have a strong understanding of financial practices, process improvement, system implementation and staff development. Working at a senior level and working within a senior leadership team. Constantly driving for continuous improvement.
