Excellent opportunity for a practice trained ACA or ACCA Qualified Accountant/FC to join a rapidly expanding, pioneering Property/Construction business in Liverpool as Financial Controller. As one of the fastest growing businesses in Merseyside, tripling in size over the last 3 years, our client is on track to be £100m t/o by the end of this year. Joining a friendly and collaborative finance team, your remit will include:      
  • Ensuring day to day operations and transactional entry run smoothly for all group entities
  • Cash flow monitoring and forecasting
  • Ensuring the timely and accurate completion of monthly management accounts
  • Board level reporting
  • Ensure compliance with external regulators
  • Assisting with the development and delivery of group wide best practice controls and processes
  • Line management responsibility for several Management accountants.
  • Processing of various VAT/CIS/PAYE returns
  • Monthly review/production of management accounts for reporting to the Head of Finance
  • Budgeting and forecasting  
Applicants will be fully qualified ACCA or ACA Qualified and will ideally have worked in, or had exposure to, the Property, Construction, or civil engineering sector experience but this is not essential. You will have excellent people skills, with a proven ability of being able to build good relationships with finance and non-finance staff to board level. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business in a broad technical Financial Controller role offering the opportunity to develop and take on further responsibility.
