Financial Controller 6 Month FTC - Mitchell Adam : Job Details

A leading manufacturing business is seeking an Interim Finance Controller / Finance Director to provide immediate financial leadership and stability during a period of change. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior finance professional to make a visible impact, driving improvements and shaping the function for the future.

What you'll do:

• Deliver clear, actionable financial insight to support both operational and strategic decision-making.

• Maintain robust financial controls and ensure accurate, timely reporting across the business.

• Lead key projects to improve systems, processes, and financial efficiency, including ERP and reporting enhancements.

• Provide guidance on budgets, forecasts, and cash flow, helping the business plan and grow with confidence.

• Optimise policies, procedures, and supplier arrangements to reduce risk and drive efficiencies.

• Act as a trusted partner to the Managing Director and senior leadership team.

What we're looking for:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience in manufacturing or complex operational businesses.

• A strong commercial thinker, able to provide insight and influence senior decision-makers.

• Hands-on, proactive, and capable of quickly assessing, stabilising, and improving finance operations.

• Experienced in financial control, reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
