Are you looking to move into a new and challenging role to develop your career? Do you have a background in analysing and interpreting financial data? The role of a finance analyst is be key to delivering and analysing executive level reporting. It is an exciting position where the successful candidate will compile and analyse the Group’s financial and non-financial performance metrics. Delivering value added analysis and information to the Group’s executive committees.   Diligence and financial acumen are a must in the role coupled with an excellent eye for detail and presentation skills. The role is vital in informing strategic and operational decision-makers and consequently will have a real impact on the business.  This organisation has experienced growth and continues to develop positively. Therefore, we have an exciting new opportunity to join the company as a Finance Analyst.  Responsibilities include:  
  • Compile and analyse the Group’s Board/Committee Reports building a narrative and recommendation for the committees to opine on. 
  • Analyse our management accounts to identify trends within our revenue and cost centres. Focusing on delivering value added outputs and partnering with senior stakeholders.  
  • Build a deep understanding of the organisation's industry, business model, and market. Plan, present and align analytics efforts with strategic goals and identify relevant metrics for measuring business performance. 
  • Monitor and investigate synergies and opportunities, developing models and scenario analysis to drive business performance. 
  • Partnering with our Data Analyst to identify and build a framework of core KPIs, aiming for real time analysis. Aim to reduce time to analyse and present while continually aspiring to improve our financial models and reports to ensure they meet changing business needs. 
  • Liaise internally with key staff to update business processes to streamline results coupled with increasing the integrity of the Group’s data. 
  • Build, manage and report on internal finance team KPIs offering insight into operational indicators. 
  • Act as a bridge between financial and non-financial stakeholders, simplifying complex financial information and insights for diverse audiences.  
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: 
  • a strong background in finance 
  • a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field 
  • experience using financial analysis software, such as Excel, to create reports and models 
  • strong communication, presentation, and public speaking skills 
  • able to convey complex information to a wide variety of people with various levels of understanding both written and verbally
