Job description: We are recruiting on behalf of an international organisation with a base in Greater Manchester who are looking for an interim Financial Analyst to assist them with financial planning & analysis for a 9 month period.

The successful candidate will be a key member of the finance department, working in partnership with senior colleagues.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the development and maintenance of the company’s medium term business plan and annual financial plan models, maximising efficiency of the models and processes, working with stakeholders to gather information & reflect strategic plans. Building internal reporting & reporting to parent company on plans.
• Responsible for the production and presentation of timely and insightful financial analysis, monthly internal management information and dashboards, including KPI tracking, for internal stakeholders to aid the Management Team and Leadership Team in making well informed business decisions. Maintaining detailed P&L for analysis & scenario comparisons
• Comparing historical results against budgets and forecasts, performing variance analysis to explain differences in performance and identify opportunities to make improvements going forward
• Supporting finance colleagues, leadership team and management team to develop financial models and analysis to support key strategic initiatives from across the business and group.
• Manage the financial aspects of strategic developments including strategic business performance reviews, reporting to parent company on performance of capital investment cases. Considering opportunities for the company to expand or grow; map out growth plans.
• Identification of and reporting on key risks by proactively analysing company performance & strategic direction
• Improve data collation systems and processes to ensure reporting is efficient and accurate
