Independent Financial Adviser – Burgess Hill (Hybrid/Remote Option)

Location & Work Type
  • Location: Burgess Hill, West Sussex

  • Work Type: Hybrid/Remote (with access to offices if preferred)

Responsibilities

The successful IFA will be responsible for delivering holistic financial advice tailored to individual client needs. Duties include:

  • Conducting the Six-Stage Advice Process to ensure compliant, client-focused outcomes

  • Reviewing clients’ evolving financial goals and updating plans accordingly

  • Building and managing relationships with new and existing clients as well as professional introducers

  • Utilising marketing tools and social media to generate leads and build personal brand awareness

  • Delivering detailed financial reviews including pensions, investments, protection, IHT planning, and more

  • Holding client meetings in-person, virtually (e.g. Microsoft Teams), or at client premises

  • Preparing compliant financial planning reports supported by a full back-office team (DIS, admin, paraplanning)

Requirements

The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills.Essential:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)

  • FCA-authorised and approved (CF30)

  • Strong communication and client relationship-building skills

  • Experience in business development, networking, and client acquisition

  • High standard of professional ethics and regulatory compliance

  • Competency in using IT platforms including virtual meeting software and CRM tools
