Are you a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, CPP or equivalent) with a demonstrable background of relevant work experience?

This is a unique opportunity to join an established family business and market leader in the Seafood industry with a reputation for quality, innovation and premium products.

Operating across the UK and international markets and on the back of substantial contract wins, we are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of weekly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet

reconciliations and variance analysis.

• Maintenance of standard costing and product margin analysis.
• Inventory and stock accounting.
• Managing payments in and out of the company.
• Accruals, prepayments and journals.
• Supporting Snr Management with budget and forecasting processes.
• Working with Snr Management to further the company's financing abilities.
• Working closely with procurement to provide meaningful financial insights.
• Cashflow forecasting and cost analysis.
• Supporting year-end audit and liaising with external auditors.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements within the finance

function.

• Responsible for analysing and managing business costs to improve financial

performance and efficiency, with a focus on budgeting, cost control and

financial planning to maximise profitability.

• Key focus will include tracking business expenditure, analysing variances and

recommending cost-saving solutions.

Ideal applicants will have previous experience within food, wholesale, retail or manufacturing industries.
