Financial Accountant

Birmingham | £55,000 – £60,000 Bonus | Hybrid Working

Are you a technically strong accountant looking to step into a fast-paced, high-growth environment? This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful private equity-backed business based in Birmingham as they continue their impressive expansion journey.

As Financial Accountant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across a complex, multi-entity structure. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll gain excellent exposure to the inner workings of a PE-backed organisation, contributing directly to its continued success. It's key the successful candidate has experience working on complex audits and is fully qualified in either ACA or ACCA.

• Preparation of consolidated group accounts for multiple entities
• Ensuring compliance with IFRS standards
• Supporting month-end and year-end reporting processes, ensuring processes are mapped out thoroughly
• Working with external auditors and advisors
• Driving improvements in financial processes and controls
• Partnering with senior finance and operational teams to provide insight and analysis

• ACA or ACCA qualified, with 1-2 years post qualified experience in a top 10 practice
• Experienced in preparing consolidated accounts for large, multi-entity businesses
• Knowledge of IFRS reporting standards
• Commercially aware, with strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment

• Competitive salary of £55,000 – £60,000, plus bonus
