Financial Accountant – Hybrid – £50,000 + BenefitsA well-established international business is looking for a proactive Financial Accountant to join its UK finance team. While the core title is Financial Accountant, this role offers significant involvement in project accounting, forecasting, and commercial finance — ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, business-facing role.You’ll be joining a collaborative finance team and will play a key role in improving project visibility, supporting key stakeholders, and preparing for an SAP rollout.Key Responsibilities

• Ownership of project accounting: tracking WIP, cost to complete, and margin analysis
• Financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Partnering with project and operational teams to monitor performance
• Involvement in year-end processes and audit support
• Input into SAP implementation from a finance and reporting perspective

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Strong grounding in financial or management accounting
• Experience in project accounting, cost tracking, or WIP analysis
• Exposure to SAP or similar ERP systems
• Confident with forecasting and business partnering
• Industry background in project-led or asset-heavy environments (e.g. engineering, logistics, tech, or construction)
• Qualified or finalist accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
