About the Job This newly created Financial Accountant position offers flexibility with only one day a month required in the London office. The successful individual will take ownership of the financial operations across the organisation, including the production of management accounts, oversight of accounts payable and receivable, and cash flow management.

Duties will include:

• Maintaining accurate financial records and general ledger entries
• Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting budgeting/forecasting processes
• Managing bank reconciliations, VAT returns, and payroll journal entries
• Monitoring daily cash positions and short-term forecasting
• Managing payment runs and ensuring timely supplier settlements
• Overseeing client invoicing and driving proactive credit control
• Collaborating with internal teams to support effective cost allocation and financial reporting

About the Successful Applicant The ideal candidate will have at least five  years' previous experience in a similar role or be actively studying towards an accounting qualification. A strong working knowledge of Xero is highly desirable, along with experience in payroll journal processes and confidence operating within multi-entity environments. Attention to detail, clear communication, and a methodical approach are key to success in this position.
