Financial Accountant - Halliday Marx : Job Details

Halliday Marx have partnered with a well established and respected media business to hire a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be either part qualified, or a finalist.

50k-55k 10% bonus

Hybrid working (3 days in the office)

Responsibilities

Ensuring all statutory, treasury and tax requirements are met

Month end reporting (P&L analysis, balance sheet recs, reviewing journals)

Managing an assistant financial accountant

Being a key point of contact for the auditors and tax advisors and banking providers

Preparing financial statements

Preparing deliverables for interim and year end audits

Cash flow forecasting for short term and long term investments

Tax compliance and preparation and filing of VAT

Adhoc system/project work

Requirements

Part qualified or finalist in either the ACA or ACCA

3 years experience within practice (ideally business services) OR Industry

Pure auditors unlikely to be considered

Available to start within 2 months

Excellent communication skills
