Financial Accountant - Robert Walters : Job Details

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a vibrant entertainment provider as a Financial Accountant. Perfect for a newly or recently qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA professional, this role offers the chance to develop your technical and commercial skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting, support statutory accounts and audits, partner with the Property team, and assist with taxation, cashflow, and ad-hoc projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare interim/year-end accounts, statutory notes, and disclosures
• Manage audit processes and liaise with external auditors
• Maintain compliance with IFRS/UK GAAP and internal controls
• Support property finance operations, lease accounting, and capital reporting
• Assist with corporation tax computations, VAT returns, and ad-hoc financial projects

About you:

• ACA/ACCA qualified with experience in financial accounting (practice or industry)
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP and audit processes
• Skilled in building relationships across teams and with external advisors
• Desirable: property finance, lease admin, IFRS 16, fixed asset registers
• Proactive, detail-focused, and eager to develop professionally
