Broster Buchanan is proud to be partnering with a well-known media company in the search for a Financial Accountant. This is a great opportunity for a qualified finance professional to join a collaborative team and take ownership of financial reporting across UK and European entities. You'll play a key role in maintaining accurate records, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with IFRS.Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and perform regular reconciliations (bank, payroll, accruals, cashflow).
• Prepare monthly reports, including P&L and balance sheets, and support internal management reporting.
• Contribute to internal management reporting, collaborating with departments to provide meaningful financial insights.
• Assist with year-end audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Provide support on corporation tax data and VAT return preparation.

What We’re Looking For

• ACA/ACCA qualified.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and UK reporting standards.
• Experience preparing financial statements and working within compliance.
• Strong attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, and Excel proficiency.
• A proactive team player with a hands-on approach.
