Financial Accountant - Butler Rose : Job Details

Butler Rose is exclusively recruiting a Financial Accountant for an international business in Exeter.

This is a permanent role with hybrid working where you will be part of a friendly and well-established finance team.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, key duties will include:

• Oversee the financial reporting of accounts, including statutory reporting
• Reporting both actuals and forecasted data in a timely manner to ensure accuracy and completion
• Preparation and review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure integrity of financial information.
• VAT Returns
• Preparation of the statutory accounts
• External Audit responsibility
• System integration
• Oher ad hoc duties as required

The successful candidate will ideally be formally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), or someone at the latter stages of qualifying. You will be organised, able to work to deadlines and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. It would equally suit someone looking to leave practice, or someone currently in industry.
