Financial Accountant - The One Group : Job Details

Our client is a stalwart in the St Ives area and they are currently recruiting for someone to join their finance team as a Financial Accountant. The role represents a great opportunity for someone who wants to be part of an established team with the opportunity to shine and grow as the company continues to evolve and thrive. The role will be varied and duties will include

• Balance sheet control accounts
• Coordination of month and year end close processes
• Assisting with internal and external audit
• Analysis and reconciliations
• Month end journals
• Handling and resolving accounting queries
• Supervision of small finance team
• Ad hoc duties

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role or may be looking to make their first move out of practice into a commercial role. Ideally qualified, candidates who are close to completion will also be considered. Strong experience of Excel is essential and exposure to an ERP system would be a distinct advantage but not essential.
