Role: Financial Accountant

Type: Permanent

Salary: £50k to £58k

Location: Nottinghamshire

Hybrid: 3 days on site

Sellick Partnership are recruiting to a Permanent Financial Accountant for our Public Sector client in Nottinghamshire.

Job Purpose:

• Provide support to the Head of Financial Services across a range of services within Financial Accounting and Financial Services
• Responsible for providing sound financial and capital accounting, charitable fund and cash services
• Manage and develop finance staff on a day-to-day basis to ensure that the financial services teams are providing efficient, high quality and customer focused functions

Key responsibilities for the Financial Accountant:

• Capital and Lease Accounting
• Lead the production of statutory annual accounts
• Responsible for managing the final Annual Accounts process
• Responsible for the provision of all information to support the auditors in their review of annual accounts
• Financial Reporting
• Prepare elements of monthly monitoring returns
• Treasury Management

Person Specification for the Financial Accountant:

• CCAB (or equivalent) qualified accountant - or equivalent experience
• Capital Accounting
