Financial Accountant - Alma Personnel : Job Details

Alma Personnel have partnered with their Coventry based client to recruit for an experienced Financial Accountant to be based at their prestigious offices.

Reporting direct to the Financial Director in delivering first class financial control on general ledger accounting, masterdata management, asset management and tax affairs.

Working 37.5 hours per week with an early finish on Fridays, depending on work load.

Hourly rate between £23 to £25.65ph, this position has been posted on a 4 month contract with a view to going permanent, so temp to perm potentially.

Key areas you will be responsible for are annual statutory reporting, VAT and interco recharges and reconciliations reporting as well as coordinating the audit process including ONS reporting, whilst also supporting the wider Group.

Tax compliance with accurate submissions for VAT and Corporation Tax.

Monthly and annual close general ledger accounting and maintaining the chart of accounts.

Take ownership of depreciation, capitalisation and disposal accounting and fixed asset register.

• Bank administration and relations
• Inter-company loans and debts
• Liquidity forecasting
• Foreign exchange financials
• Monitor SoD/ DoA
• Company Masterdata, vendors and clients
• AAT qualified
• Annual audit completion, accrual & prepayment reconciliations
• VAT reporting

You will be of an analytical way of thinking have excellent communication skills both verbally and written.

Use of any resource planning applications such as SAP and ERP would be an advantage.

So essential requirements for this role are statutory reporting, VAT and inter company experience are essential.
