Finance Supervisor - JMF Associates : Job Details

A well-established Services Business based in North Kent is looking to hire a Finance Supervisor on a permanent basis.  Reporting to the Financial Controller and supervising a small finance team the Finance Supervisor will:

• Oversee the monthly payroll for more than 60 staff members
• Actively mentor and develop the accounts office team (4 staff) and internal processes to ensure the accounts office functions efficiently and effectively and the team are supported and motivated;
• Oversee the maintenance of the Company’s accounting records, purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank accounts, reconciliation of all control accounts
• Assist with any accounting queries and investigate and resolve and/or report problems as they arise;
• Ensure supplier accounts are reconciled and paid and accounts are invoiced and collected on time

This role would suit an AAT/QBE/ACCA or CIMA part qualified Finance Supervisor or Bookkeeper with previous experience supervising staff who also possesses good transactional accounting and Payroll knowledge.
