Are you an ACA or ACCA Qualified Accountant looking to make your first or second move from practice into a dynamic, high-impact industry role? This high-growth, specialist contract focused company is seeking a Finance Process Improvement Manager to help modernise and elevate the finance function.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-visibility role where you'll drive process transformation, automation, and control enhancements across a £200m+ business. Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll be at the heart of shaping how finance supports smarter, faster decision-making.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Redesigning Finance Processes: Streamline workflows like project cost tracking, supplier payments, and month-end close.
• Driving Automation: Identify and implement automation opportunities across Excel, reporting tools, and finance systems.
• Strengthening Controls: Build and enforce robust internal control frameworks, ensuring compliance and reducing risk.
• Delivering Insightful Reporting: Provide clear, actionable financial analysis to senior leadership.
• Collaborating Across Teams: Work closely with Finance, IT, HR, and Central Services to align systems and data integrity.

What We’re Looking For

• ACA / ACCA qualified, ideally with 3+ years PQE
• Practice-trained profile is absolutely essential to be considered for this role
• Strong Excel and Power BI skills, with a knack for turning data into stories
• Experience in management accounts, KPI reporting, and financial control
• Commercially sharp, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Emotionally intelligent and ready to grow into a future Finance Leader
