Pertemps are delighted to be recruiting a Finance and Performance Manager for our public sector client based in Edinburgh, initially on a temporary basis but may go permanent for the right candidate.Role - Finance and Performance ManagerLocation - EdinburghHours - Monday - Friday, 36 hours per weekSalary - £50,550 - £60,506 depending on experienceStart date - asapThe successful candidate will be working within an established team who work with Service Contracts for the provision of Repair and Maintenance Services. You will be responsible for all aspects of financial and performance management across the service. You will be carrying out, but not limited to the following duties:

• Leading and managing the team and agreed annual budget
• Management of the Corporate Property Helpdesk
• Monitoring spend, including tracking of energy costs across the estate in partnership with colleagues
• Preparing annual spend proposals, in conjunction with the Service Manager and relevant Team members, for the recognised work categories
• Reviewing Contractor's plans for acceptance in relation to PPM and statutory compliance alongside various internal and external stakeholders
• Monitoring compliance against the Accepted Plan, including timely completion of works, and any impact on frontline delivery and other works
• In conjunction with the Service Manager, agree adjustments to respective Price List following changes to the asset register and/ or the Affected Property List
• Providing regular reports which track the Contractors' Reactive repairs performance against agreed response and rectification targets
• Presenting reports and monthly statements on Reactive spend, based on data extracted from systems and information provided by Quantity Surveyors
• Carrying out the assessment of Contractor submitted month end applications for payment and issue relevant certificates to enable submission of invoices
• Monitoring and reporting on the performance requirements set out in relation to the works and provision of the service by the Contractors, including assessment of any deductions due
