Finance Operations Supervisor - Farrer Barnes Limited : Job Details

A Finance Operations Supervisor is needed to join the team of a well-known national retailer, located in North Kent (full-time, on-site for 5 days a week). This role presents an exciting chance to contribute to the operations of a prominent retailer with a network of over 100 stores across the UK.The primary responsibility involves overseeing the day-to-day queries and workload of the transactional finance team.Key responsibilities include:

• Managing both accounts payable and receivable ledgers.
• Ensuring accurate and timely payments to suppliers.
• Reconciling accounts thoroughly, including the reconciliation of all received cash.
• Proposing and implementing process enhancements to boost efficiency.
• Serving as the focal point for finance-related queries from colleagues and external suppliers.
• Enhancing existing reporting mechanisms to streamline communication.
• The ideal candidate will boast substantial experience in both Accounts Payable and Receivables. Proficiency in Excel is a critical requirement. Effective communication skills are a must, along with the ability to be the point person for finance inquiries.
