Finance Officer - Altum Consulting : Job Details

Altum Consulting is proud to be assisting a respected children's charity in their search for a Finance Officer to join its dedicated team. This is an opportunity to contribute your skills to a cause that truly matters. This is a 6 month FTC which requires you to work in the office 1-2 days per week.

• Assist with processing invoices, expenses, and payments

• Help maintain accurate financial records and data entry

• Support monthly bank reconciliations and income tracking

• Assist with payroll preparation and staff expense claims

• Help prepare financial reports for internal teams

• Work with colleagues to ensure financial procedures are followed

• Provide general administrative support to the finance function

• AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent); relevant experience in the charity or not-for-profit sector is desirable

• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Dynamics 365, Xledger, Sage) and Excel

• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

• A collaborative team player with strong communication skills

• Outstanding customer service
