Are you an ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified Accountant (with around 1 - 2 years PQE or more) looking for your next challenge? Are you keen to work in the finance team of a rapidly growing accountancy firm that specialises in working with high profile Media, Creative, Film & TV clients? Are you either currently working in an accountancy firm in a client facing role and looking to move to an in house internal finance role in a medium size accountancy practice firm? Or are you currently already working in industry and looking for more responsibility and faster progression? Are you keen to continue your career in a relaxed, forward thinking, modern and entrepreneurial professional practice firm based in a prime location in Central London in a newly created Internal Finance Team? Based in a newly created team due to the firm growing so rapidly, Reporting to the Finance Partner, you will be responsible for: liaising with all Partners in the firm, preparing quarterly management accounts and reports, complete management of WIP and Debtors, analysis of the firms performance and monitor KPI’s, Monthly reporting on New clients, Billing, WIP, Debtors, Staff Utilisation and cashflow, VAT returns, account reconciliations, preparing payroll for 80 staff and other ad hoc duties as required. There will also be a junior member of staff you will be in charge of. The role will be advisory and there will be a large element of advising the Senior Partners how staff are performing and how to improve staff and firm performance. The firm uses CCH software so experience of this would be beneficial. The firm offers flexible working and allows all staff to work one day a week from home and also offers flexible start and finish times.

To be considered for this interesting and newly created position due to rapid growth (April 2024) you must be a fully qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA, with 1 to 2 years PQE minimum. You must either currently be working in industry and looking for your next challenge, or you will be working in practice in a client facing role and looking to move into your first internal finance position. You must have experience of most of the above duties, including management accounts and Vat returns. You must possess fast and accurate data processing skills, work to high standards, be able to meet tight deadlines, have a sense of humour and be a team player. Experience of a range of software packages, especially CCH, would be an advantage.
