Michael Page Finance are delighted to be partnering an established global Manufacturing/Consumer business based in West London. The business is part of a wider €180m turnover group and have recently been brought by Private Equity. 2024 is a really exciting year for the business as they embark on an aggressive growth strategy to double in size (£21m) over the next four years.

With operations in the U.K, Hong Kong and China; the company were founded over two decades ago and manufacture luxury packaging and supply iconic brands globally across the Beauty, Fragrance, Fashion, Food, Drink, and Jewellery sectors and many more. As part of their growth strategy they are looking to continue their organic growth domestically as well as further move in to international markets.

They are looking to hire a newly created commercial Finance Manager position

Description

The commercial Finance Manager will be responsible for:

• Manage and provide leadership to a team overseeing the financial reporting, cost accounting, and analysis
• Business partner to key customers and suppliers with contract negotiation
• Business partner to the commercial and sales teams to provide insight and finance support with decision making
• Monthly reporting to provide analyses to support monthly/quarterly/annual financial results as required
• Drive consistent and accurate reporting across all projects to maintain margins on a monthly basis.
• Inventory Management and Accounting of various assets.
• Ownership of operational KPIs, stock-reporting, customer profitability, timing of projects, freight
• Ensure adherence to all Logistics/Supply Chain financial impacting processes and internal controls
• Drive improved business insight into the business, including development and reporting of KPI's and performance metrics and scorecards, to drive organisational accountability and performance
• Cooperate with Head of Finance to drive process improvement and implementation within the finance group and within the organisation

Profile

The success Finance Manager - Supply Chain should have:

• A fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or qualified by experience
• Proven experience in a similar role within a B2B environment with exposure to international trade (imports and exports)
• Knowledge of supply chain from manufacturing, marketing, finance and logistics
• Strong knowledge of finance systems and processes
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• The ability to think strategically and solve problems effectively
• A strong understanding of the supply chain within the industrial/manufacturing industry
