Finance Manager Study support - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Position: Finance Manager On-site Location: Banbury (Office-based)

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week

Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 + Study supportWorking with an established market leading manufacturer located in Banbury, who is seeking a Finance Manager to assist the Financial Director with preparation of reports, forecasts and budgets and to manage, lead and motivate a small finance team. This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to gain line managing experience. Job Responsibilities

• To manage, lead and motivate the Accounts Department.
• Maintain the business Sales and Purchase ledger.
• Manage the business's cash resources daily
• Maintain the Monthly Payroll, time, attendance and personnel records.
• Maintain the business's general ledgers to produce monthly management accounts to deadlines set.
• Prepare, complete and submit all statutory returns.
• Maintain and manage the business's register of fixed assets.
• Organise the administration of periodic stock takes and prepare stock valuations to support the financial accounts.
• Provide ad hoc reports

About You:

• Experience to an equivalent level or CIMA/ACCA Studier.
• Proven leadership skills & proven experience in supervising staff.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational, time management and planning skills.
• The ability to influence and manage change within the business.
