Finance/Accounts ManagerMilton Keynes (Hybrid)Up to £60,000 plus benefits  We are partnered with a Global top 10 Accounting firm as they look to add a Finance/Accounts Manager to their growing function here in Milton Keynes.The Role:This is a well-rounded Finance Manager role based in Milton Keynes, reporting into the Partners and responsible for overseeing a portfolio of clients, managing a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional service across a diverse client base. You’ll play a key role in client relationship management, team leadership, and business development, contributing to the continued success and growth of the firm.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, planning, controlling, and reviewing work to ensure efficient and effective delivery.• Provide hands-on support to Partners and their teams across a range of assignments.• Lead, motivate, and develop team members through day-to-day management, performance reviews, and coaching.• Identify opportunities to deliver additional services and drive business development through networking and client referrals.• Oversee and review statutory accounts preparation and ensure compliance with current accounting standards.• Contribute to firm-wide initiatives and process improvements, supporting the firm’s commitment to quality and excellence.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Fully qualified ACA/ACCA with a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualified experience in external accounts and general practice.• Proven experience managing client portfolios and delivering high-quality work across a range of industries.• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, delegate, and develop a team effectively.• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to build strong client relationships.• Commercially minded, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and providing practical solutions.
