Are you a hands-on finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced SME environment?Our client, a successful manufacturing business with a turnover of £20m, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function and support the business and group entity.

This is a key role in a dynamic organisation, offering the chance to lead, influence, and make a tangible impact.

• Take full responsibility for the day-to-day finance function within a £20m turnover business.

• Manage and develop a small finance team of 2, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.

• Be hands-on, from supporting shop floor operations to producing detailed management accounts and dealing with queries across the business when needed.

• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.

• Drive improvements in processes, systems, and controls to support growth.

• Partner closely with the leadership team, providing financial insight to aid decision-making.

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE with strong SME finance experience.

• Comfortable being both strategic and hands-on - rolling up your sleeves when needed.

• Experience of managing and mentoring small teams.

• Excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business.

• Commercially focused, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
