We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Manager to join our clients team in the heart of Edinburgh.

This full-time role is ideal for a finance professional with strong ledger management and reconciliation experience, who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to maintaining financial accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and process sales and purchase ledger transactions with precision and timeliness.
• Perform regular bank postings and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy across all accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of trial balances to support financial reporting.
• Support the production of monthly management accounts, working closely with senior finance staff.
• Liaise effectively with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve financial queries.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures and controls.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar finance role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of ledger management, reconciliations, and trial balance preparation.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
