Finance Manager - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new companyA growing and award-winning SME business is looking to recruit a Finance Manager on a 12-month FTC here in Bristol. Your new roleReporting to the Financial Controller and managing a small team, we are looking for someone to start in September and join the business for a minimum of 12 months. The role will include:

• Preparation of monthly group management accounts and analysis
• Oversight of the payroll process and cover for payroll assistant as needed
• Budget and forecast preparation and support for business planning
• Lead the financial year-end and audit process
• Tax and cash management, including VAT, payroll tax and R&D reporting
• ERP/stock systems' reconciliation (Sage and Dynamics BC)
• Financial support to project teams and assistance with tender processes
• Lead and develop finance team members, contributing to performance management
• Support recruitment, communication, and professional development within the team

What you'll need to succeedWe are ideally looking for a qualified accountant, someone with experience of leading a small team and being adaptable within a small, fast-growing business. You need to be either immediately available, or available on short notice and happy to take on a contract for a minimum of 12 months. What you'll get in returnThe role offers hybrid working and pays between £50,000 - £55,000 and offers a flexible, hybrid working arrangement.
