Finance Manager - Marc Daniels : Job Details

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering precise and timely accounting for one of the company's key business lines. You will be instrumental in safeguarding the quality of financial information, ensuring data integrity across all reporting outputs to enable informed, strategic business decisions. You will manage and develop a team of two.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end accounting and financial reporting for complex and high-value agreements.
• Develop a deep understanding of contract requirements and performance drivers, including fixed assets and other cost structures.
• Lead monthly variance analysis, proactively identifying and flagging inconsistencies or financial risks to allow for timely resolution.
• Review current processes to identify opportunities for streamlining and automation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement changes.
• Design and implement robust internal controls to ensure data integrity, governance, and accurate reporting.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of two, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Act as a leader within the finance team, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business

What We're Looking For:

• A professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA preferred).
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Workday, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
• An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide business-driving insights.
• Confident and effective communication skills, with experience engaging senior leaders and clients.
