Finance Manager | Dewsbury | Manufacturing | Up to £55k | Hybrid Negotiable Our client is on an exciting journey of growth and transformation. With a newly appointed, highly experienced Finance Director recently joining the business, their Finance Department is focused on going beyond the numbers – driving strategy, developing robust processes, and supporting the business in achieving its ambitious future plans.They’re looking for a Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in this journey. Reporting directly to the Finance Director and leading a small, dedicated team (Purchase Ledger Clerk and Credit Controller), this is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll make an impact both operationally and strategically.The day to day:

• Leading day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accurate and timely management accounts, reconciliations, audits, and reporting.
• Driving improvements in financial controls, processes, and systems.
• Overseeing payroll, treasury management, and cashflow forecasting.
• Partnering with senior leaders across the business on budgets, performance reviews, and strategic decisions.
• Playing a key part in the Senior Management Team, presenting financial insights and supporting company-wide initiatives.
• Mentoring and developing your team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Deputising for the Finance Director when required.

About you:

• A qualified/finalist finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong communicator with high emotional intelligence and integrity.
• Resilient, adaptable, and motivated by challenge.
• Hands-on and detail-oriented, but equally comfortable thinking strategically.
• A natural team player and leader, keen to be part of a dynamic and growing business.
