The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of all aspects of the company’s finances while leading and developing the administration team. This is a hands-on role suited to an enthusiastic, well-organised individual who enjoys working in a busy environment and thrives on accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly management accounts
- Complete VAT returns
- Coordinate year-end accounts and reports
- Prepare corporation and personal tax computations
- Lead and support the administration team
- Report directly to the board of directors
- Manage all incoming and outgoing payments
- Oversee foreign exchange transactions
- Oversee purchase ledger management for both UK and European divisions
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Manage payroll and expenses
- Report directly to the board of directors
What We’re Looking For
- Ideally around 5 years’ experience in the private sector
- High level of computer literacy — experience with ERP systems is advantageous
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
- Exceptionally organised and methodical, with a keen eye for detail
- Able to analyse and improve existing processes to drive efficiency
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels
- Commercially minded with a focus on accuracy and maintaining high standards
