We’re working with a not-for-profit arts group delivering high-impact programmes across education, performance, and community engagement. They’re looking for a Finance Manager to bring structure, clarity, and strategic insight to a small but busy finance team.
WISH LIST
- Strong experience producing management accounts and leading budgeting processes
- Enjoys working hands-on and advising at leadership level
- Comfortable balancing day-to-day operations with long-term financial planning
THE ROLE
- Deliver timely, accurate monthly and annual reporting
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Advise senior leadership on financial performance and risks
- Maintain effective cash flow and ensure regulatory compliance
- Coordinate audits and oversee funding body reporting
- Build business cases for new projects and capital spend
- Lead procurement and manage supplier contracts
- Maintain robust internal controls and finance procedures
- Support and develop finance staff
- Work across departments to deliver organisational goals
YOUR PROFILE
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA, CIMA)
- Effective communicator – written & verbal
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience in arts, charity, or educational finance
- Strong understanding of compliance and public funding
