This is a pivotal role that will take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations, ensure robust financial controls, and provide strategic insights to support our continued growth.Key Responsibilities:• Manage all aspects of the finance function, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting.• Prepare monthly management accounts and deliver actionable insights to the senior leadership team.• Oversee transactional finance ensuring accuracy and efficiency.• Develop and implement financial controls and policies to safeguard company assets.• Partner with department heads to track performance against budgets and support strategic decision-making.• Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and HMRC.• Lead on cost analysis, margin improvement initiatives, and pricing strategy.• Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory financial requirements.Requirements:• Proven experience in a finance management role, preferably within an SME.• Strong analytical and commercial acumen.• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.Our local Lancashire Axon Moore team recruit all accounting and finance roles from CFO to transactional finance on both a temporary and permanent basis.
