The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant who combines strong technical knowledge with commercial insight to drive financial performance, ensure integrity in financial reporting, and support strategic decision-making.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead preparation of monthly management accounts and year-end statutory accounts.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting in compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, UK GAAP).
- Monitor financial performance against KPIs and support variance analysis.
- Manage the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processes.
- Develop and maintain internal controls and financial policies.
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
- Support cash flow forecasting and treasury management.
- Provide financial insights to senior management and contribute to strategic initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or CPA) – essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience in financial management or similar roles.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering.
- Experience working with ERP and accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
