On an exclusive basis, greenwellgleeson are recruiting for a No.1 Finance Manager to work with a growing SME business based in Birmingham.
This is a full time, on site role.
Duties of the role will include:
Production of the financial statements including monthly management accounts, cash flows and commentaries
Management of the Fixed Asset Register including Additions, Disposals and Depreciation
Budget and forecast management.
Cash-flow management
Liaising with auditors for year-end
Managing people in the Finance department
Overseeing the finance department ensuring smooth operation and improving processes to increase efficiency.
Monthly bank reconciliations
Perform, oversee, reconcile, and submit quarterly VAT returns.
Completion of Annual P11Ds
Reconcile and prepare monthly employees' payroll and PAYE payment to HMRC.
Manage adequate Insurance including renewals, claims and analysis of current requirements.
File Annual company Returns and perform other necessary Company Secretarial duties.
Supporting the Managing Director with M&A activities
Report financials to Managing Director and provide commentary to help with future-plans including acquisitions.
Skills, Requirements, Qualifications
ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA qualified
Experience in SME environment
Management experience
Experience with acquisitions
Strong advanced excel knowledge.
Strong commercial acumen
Familiar with fully integrated ERP software
Salary : 50000 - 60000
