We’re partnering with a prestigious institution to find a qualified and experienced Finance Manager to join their close-knit team. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee a range of core functions including statutory reporting, audit, treasury, payroll, and endowment management. It’s a fantastic opportunity to lead a vital finance team at a well-respected organisation with a meaningful mission and strong values.

?? As Finance Manager, you will:

  • Lead on the production of statutory accounts and support external audit delivery
  • Provide technical guidance on accounting treatments and ensure strong financial controls
  • Manage and support a small transactional team, overseeing AR/AP, month-end, and appraisals
  • Support trust and endowment reporting, drawdowns, and financial planning
  • Oversee payroll approvals, tax compliance, and salary sacrifice schemes
  • Produce cash flow forecasts and ensure optimal treasury management
  • Collaborate across departments to promote a culture of value-for-money and financial accountability

?? What we’re looking for:

  • CCAB-qualified finance professional with experience in consolidated accounts
  • Excellent knowledge of financial controls, reporting, and accounting standards (RCCA/UK GAAP)
  • Strong Excel skills (advanced level desirable) and comfort with finance systems
  • Experience managing small teams and supporting operational finance
  • Exceptional organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in education, charities, or the wider non-profit/public sector is desirable
