Your Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Management: Inspire and lead a team of Accounts Assistants, fostering their growth and ensuring efficient finance operations.
• Financial Operations: Oversee daily financial operations, including purchase and sales ledgers.
• Reporting & Compliance: Prepare monthly journals, management accounts, and overhead analysis reports. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Systems & Process Improvement: Continuously seek process improvements and handle ad-hoc projects and system enhancements.

What We're Looking For:

• Education: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification is desirable, but part-qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience: Proven experience and advanced Excel skills are essential.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of financial policy/legislation, statutory requirements, and financial processes. Excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Technical Proficiency: Competence in Sage and Microsoft Office.
