• Oversee financial administration tasks across various academies, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
• Work closely with the Chief Finance and Operations Officer (COFO) and Headteachers to monitor and manage budgets effectively.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, providing critical attention to detail to ensure financial integrity.
• Provide insightful financial reports to support strategic decision-making and maintain financial health across the academies.
• Lead and manage finance teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

• Senior finance experience with a demonstrated ability to manage budgets at a senior level in the UK.
• Strong leadership skills with proven experience in supervising and managing finance teams.
• Expertise in budget preparation, setting, monitoring, and financial forecasting.
• Proficient in preparing and presenting financial and management accounts, reports, and data.
• Familiarity with accounting software systems and the ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Experience in liaising with auditors and maintaining productive relationships with financial professionals.
• A Professional Accountancy Qualification is highly desirable.
