Finance Manager - Robert Walters : Job Details

A high growth retail business that I'm delighted to be partnered with are looking to add a Finance Manager to their team on an initial 6 month contract.

As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in the financial management of the company. You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and guiding the executive team with insights and financial advice that will allow them to make the best business decisions for the company.

**This is a dual site role where you will be based largely out of their City of Preston offices. Travel to their Crewe offices will be necessary roughly once per week. Due to this, there is increased flexibility on offer based on individual candidate requirements**

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports
• Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities
• Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies
• Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations
• Report to the CFO with timely and accurate financial information
• Assist the CFO in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members

Qualifications:

• Part qualified CIMA / ACCA or qualified by experience
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Finance Manager or Management Accountant
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices
• Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP)
