Based in Manchester just a short distance from Piccadilly Train Station, we’re looking for an exceptional Finance Manager to lead the finance team.

Working alongside a friendly, passionate team and reporting to the Brand Manager, the Finance Manager will assist the senior leadership team in devising weekly sales targets, reporting on performance and managing operational partners to support the finance function.

Our ideal candidate will have previous management experience, preferably in ecommerce.

The main responsibilities of the role will include the preparation of budgets, forecasts and strategic plans together with the Board and Senior Management Team.

You will support the Finance Assistant with the day to day running of the Finance Department, and ensure robust processes are developed and maintained to assist with the growth of the business.

Collaboration across departments is key within this role, so we’re looking for a real team player who can work alongside others, with plenty of initiative and is assertive in putting forward ideas.

This is a hybrid role, offering some opportunity to work from home if desired, upon completion of a successful induction period.

Skills & Experience

· At least 3 years’ experience in an equivalent role, ideally within a clothing/lifestyle brand

· Qualified or PQ accountant with a strong academic record

· Management or mentoring of a small team

· End-to-end Management Accounts

· Analytical problem-solving approach

· An eye for detail and accuracy
