You will have responsibility for general bookkeeping and accounting tasks. Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following.

Core duties`

  • General bookkeeping (accounts payable/accounts receivable)
    • Recording transactions on Xero accounting software
    • Raising client invoices
    • Credit control
    • Monthly Credit card reconciliation
    • Banking and twice-monthly supplier payment runs
    • Processing monthly expenses
    • Month-end journals, prepayments, accruals, and depreciation
    • Quarterly VAT
    • Processing payroll and pension
    • Cashflow
  • China office
    • Liaison with China entity accountant
    • China payroll management, via China accountant
    • China recharges
  • Client
    • Client ad-spend reconciliation
    • Purchase order approval
  • Reporting
    • Client profitability report
    • Productivity analysis
  • HR
    • Holiday management
    • New starters and leavers
    • Insurances
    • Visa applications
    • Software and hardware subscription management

Skills & Qualifications

  • Possess a minimum of 3 years bookkeeping experience
  • Be full or part qualified AAT, ACCA, or CIMA (or equivalent from another country)
  • Experience using Xero accounting software
  • Be highly skilled in using Excel spreadsheets
  • Have high level of integrity and dependability
  • Organised - This is a vital skill.
  • Attention to detail - Understand the details, finger on the pulse, manage workload and understand where the pain points are for client deliverables.
  • Get sh*t done - Action solutions/changes/processes promptly, religiously deliver on commitments.
  • Problem solver - More than just being available for meetings, truly listen and action, have a real understanding of business day-to-day problems. Earn a reputation as the go-to person to help our people solve problems, promptly.
