Finance Executive - Media and Client Billing - Media Geeks Recruitment : Job Details

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our team on a 6 months contract (immediate start) and take ownership of transactional finance activities for one of our largest clients. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with numbers, building strong stakeholder relationships, and ensuring accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

• Process supplier invoices monthly (AP) and recharge to our largest client, applying correct markups.
• Perform monthly media reconciliations.
• Raise and process monthly fee invoices in line with Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Manage the debtors process end-to-end: billing, collections, and payment queries.
• Prepare accurate reconciliations for month-end reporting on media costs and revenue recognition.
• Upload AR invoices into client procurement systems and ensure compliance with PO requirements.
• Support AR/AP leads with daily banking, transaction coding, and cash flow management.
• Maintain documentation and audit trails for all financial activities.

Reporting & Analysis & Business Partnering:

• Act as the key finance contact for our largest client, ensuring smooth communication and timely updates.
• Partner with internal client teams to align spend, recharge amounts, and resolve discrepancies.
• Review expenditure reports, recharge calculations, and adjustments with stakeholders.
• Work directly with suppliers and customers to resolve invoice issues.
• Assist with analysing media spend trends to support accurate cash flow forecasting.

The Person:

• Experience in accounts receivable/payable, billing, or client finance (media/agency experience a plus).
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with both clients and suppliers.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
• Working knowledge of finance systems, reconciliations, and invoice processing.
