Finance Director / Senior Financial Controller - VC-Backed WealthTech - eFinancialCareers : Job Details

We are working with a high-growth WealthTech business that is transforming UK wealth management. Backed by Series C funding, they are scaling rapidly and looking to growing their team from 50 to 120.

We’re looking for a hands-on superstar Finance Director or Senior FC who has built and transformed finance functions in VC-backed, regulated businesses . You’ll take full ownership of the finance function, professionalise reporting, implement scalable systems, and ensure investor-ready financials.

What You’ll Do:

• Be hands on but also lead, mentor, and suppot existing finance team
• Drive FP&A, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
• Build robust controls and investor-grade reporting.
• Ensure FCA and CASS compliance.
• Partner with leadership on strategy and future fundraising.

Who You Are:

• ACA/ACCA qualified with senior experience in a VC-backed, regulated scale-up.
• Hands-on in all aspect of a finance function and a proven track record of putting in the right processes and control from the ground up alongside being commercially astute, and growth-focused.
• Confident, pragmatic, and able to influence at board and investor level.
• Excited by building and scaling finance operations from the ground up.
