Rutherford Briant Executive have been engaged to recruit a Finance Director for our sector leading client based in Braintree, Essex.

The role will lead the finance function and sit as part of a dynamic senior leadership team to drive growth and enhance financial performance, as well as leading strategic projects, closely aligned with the CEO and board.

As an SME and fast growing business, you will need to be hands on, into the detail and commercial in your outlook.Responsibilities:As the Finance Director, you will…

• Support and deliver the financial strategy with the CEO and board
• Deliver first class financial reporting and future planning
• Deliver financial transformation to support growth
• Support, guide and inspire the finance function and other business areas
• Ensure robust financial governance

Requirements:As the Finance Director, you will need…

• Be an experienced Finance Director, ideally within a growing SME business
• Have exposure to exit planning, M&A, fund raising, etc
• To have a background in both technical and commercial accounting
• To be a driven and strategic thinker
