We’re working on a standout opportunity for an experienced Finance Director to join a growing manufacturing business based in West Yorkshire. The BusinessThis is a multi-site, operationally complex business, backed by a well-resourced group but with autonomy at the local level. The Managing Director is a highly respected, empathetic and good-humoured leader who fosters a people-first, collaborative environment — this isn't a top-down culture; it’s a genuinely collegiate SLT.

The RoleAs Finance Director, you'll be far more than a number-cruncher. You'll be a key strategic voice in the room, supporting and influencing business-critical decisions across the board. You'll be trusted to:

• Own and evolve the financial strategy to support commercial and operational growth plans.

• Drive robust budgeting, forecasting and reporting.

• Partner across the business to optimise margins, contracts, and cost control.

• Lead on M&A due diligence, integration, and long-term investment planning.

• Play a central role in ongoing ERP transformation and digital finance evolution.

• Develop a high-performing finance function that adds true value to decision-making.

You’ll Need To Bring

• A background in manufacturing, engineering or a similar operational setting.

• A proven ability to influence at SLT/Board level.

• Commercial acumen and experience driving profitability across multi-site businesses.

• Hands-on leadership of finance teams and transformation projects (ERP experience a plus).

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification with substantial post-qual experience.
