Gleeson Recruitment Group are working exclusively in partnership with a dynamic, entrepreneurial and rapidly growing SME business, who are looking to appoint a Finance Director in a newly-created position.

Our client is looking for an experienced and results-driven Finance Director to lead the finance department and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of the organisation. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, possess strong analytical skills, and have a proven track record in financial management within the FMCG or manufacturing industries.

Salary on offer is up to £80,000 per annum, with LTIP options included in the package.

Key responsibilities of the Finance Director position:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives.
• Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Analyse financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making.
• Manage relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and cost optimisation.
• Assess and mitigate financial risks while identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute to strategic business planning and provide financial guidance to senior management.

Requirements for the Finance Director position:

• Recognised Accountancy Qualification - ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Proven experience as either a Financial Controller or Finance Director or in a similar senior finance role within the FMCG or Manufacturing industries.
• Strong understanding of international finance and exposure to diverse markets.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to drive financial performance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis tools.
• Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and reporting standards.
